4/29/2005 01:55:00 AM|W|P|Jen Da Purse Ho|W|P|i've been working on my felted clutch today. not much...but sort of working on it. i'm in a bit of a daze today. i'm still not feeling well. i have a horrible sinus infection that won't go away! i'm gonig to the doctor tomorrow. hopefully he can cure me. has anyone seen "Craft Corner Deathmatch"? my friend told me about this show. It's a show where crafters compete against each other...in a deathmatch way...then they are forced to go against the Craft Lady of Steel. it's kind of stupid...it's crafting the Iron Chef way. the guy on it who is the host ...i think he smokes ALOt of crack. something is wrong w/ him. but the show is pretty funny. i mean..it's not hilarious. but it's funny. i kind of want to compete on it. ahahahaha. I took my fair isle hat to Simpatico Yarns today. Everyone loved it! i left it there for a while to be a shop sample. everyone said such nice things. Such an ego boost. it's like..>STROKE IT!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! well, not TOTALLY. i need to make sure the join is seamed up. for some reason it never relaly joined...it's sort of split. grrr...i need to fix that, make the pom-pom and then BLOCK. Check it out...she's one of the most hilarious and kindest people i know. check it out.....the newest Sally Melville book is coming out. it's called COLOR. from what i understand from other knitters...this has been a long wait for this 3rd book out of a series of supposedly 7? man. 4 more to go I'm on row 130 on my fair isle hat. i'm getting excited and hope to finish it SOOn. :) I was checking out the newest Knitty and i reallly dig the Branching Out pattern. I've never done lace before and the author said that if you've never done lace before...this is a nice starter. it only requires one skein of Silky wool. that's so freaking awesome. I think i've been suffering from a sinus infection. i'm really congested and feel really crappy. and my nose has been SOOO stuffy....i have been trying to clear it out often and carefully. AM I??!?! I'm not done yet...but i'm on row 70. that's like..almost half way. WHOOOhooooooO!!! i'm having fun doing it...i think that is the main thing. it's like a cool puzzle. the more you do...the more awesome you look. My clapotis is moving slowly. that is my ...sideline picture. I got distracted w/ a book on Friday. Luckily i finished it today, so i can move onto knitting all the time again. sigh. my friends were looking at my progress and saying i didn't get enough yarn.
